Import a boarding pass from Apple Wallet?

Yes, for flights. The pass is already on your phone, so there’s no reason to type it out a second time. Share it into Lumoria and the route, the times, the seat and the flight number arrive already in place.

How to do it

1. Open the pass in Wallet, or open the .pkpass file itself (the pass file an airline emails you) in Mail, Messages or Files.
2. Tap the share button and pick Lumoria from the share sheet.
3. Lumoria opens on its import step and reads the pass. You’ll see “Reading pass…”.
4. Check what it filled in, and type in anything it couldn’t read.
5. Pick a style and tap Create ticket. It prints like any other.

The share sheet is the only way in. There’s no Import from Wallet entry on the + button. That menu has New Ticket and Import from Web, and nothing else.

Boarding passes only

Lumoria only reads passes with a flight in them. A concert pass, a match ticket or a coffee card comes back as “This isn’t a boarding pass.” Make those by hand instead. It takes about a minute either way, and “How do I make my first ticket?” shows the flow.

If it can’t read every field

You’ll see a banner: “We couldn’t detect every field. Fill in the rest below.” Nothing is lost. What it did read is already in the form, and the rest are ordinary fields you can type into.

Some airlines mark their passes so they can’t be shared. If Lumoria doesn’t appear in the share sheet, that’s why. Start a Plane ticket from the + instead.
