How do I leave or delete a shared Memory?
Both live in the ⋯ menu, and which one you see depends on your role. Everyone except the Owner gets Leave Memory. Only the Owner gets Delete Memory.
Leaving
- Open the Memory and tap ⋯ → Leave Memory. The same thing sits at the bottom of Memory Settings, as Leave this Memory.
- Read the warning: “You’ll lose access to it, and everything you added will be deleted. This can’t be undone. The others will keep the memory.”
- Tap Leave, or Cancel to stay.
Every Moment you added leaves with you: your photos, your notes, your voice memos. The others keep the Memory without them. Your own tickets stay in your gallery: only the copy inside the Memory goes.
The Owner has no Leave. There is one Owner per Memory and the role is never transferred, so for them the only way out is to delete it. “Who can do what in a shared Memory?” explains all four roles.
Deleting
Only the Owner can. Tap ⋯ → Delete Memory and read what it says: “Everyone loses this Memory, and every Moment anyone added to it goes with it. Your own tickets stay in your gallery. This can’t be undone.” Then tap Delete Memory to confirm, or Keep Memory to back out.
Getting someone else out
There is no Remove button on the Participants list today, so it happens two other ways. If the person hasn’t accepted yet, tap the ⋯ next to their name and choose Revoke their invitation. If they have already joined, unfriending them is what removes them.
Unfriending settles every Memory the two of you share, one at a time. Whoever holds the higher role stays; the other one is removed, and everything they added goes with them. Two people on the same role both stay. Reporting someone does the same and blocks them as well. “How do I unfriend, block or report someone?” covers it in full.
Leaving and deleting are both permanent. Lumoria keeps no copy for you to restore, and there is no bin.
