How do I change a Memory’s colour, emoji and cover?

Colour and emoji are yours to change whenever you like, under ⋯ → Memory Settings → Appearance. The cover works differently: Lumoria draws it from what’s inside the Memory, so there’s nothing to choose.

Colour and emoji

  1. Open the Memory and tap ⋯ → Memory Settings.
  2. Tap Appearance.
  3. Under Color & Emoji, tap one of the eleven colours.
  4. Tap an emoji in the grid, or type one of your own under Custom emoji.

There’s no Save button. Each tap is saved as you make it.

The colour tints the Memory’s cover and follows it across the app, the widget included. The emoji shows on the Memory card and in notifications, so pick one you’ll recognise in a full grid. With no emoji at all, Lumoria shows a star.

Where the cover comes from

It’s made, not chosen. Lumoria takes up to three Moments from the Memory (tickets, photos, videos) and stands them like loose prints in front of a plaque tinted with your colour. As you scroll the Memories tab, the three gather into a single stack.

So a cover changes in two ways: change the colour, or change what’s in the Memory. There’s no “set this photo as the cover” anywhere in the app. A Memory with nothing in it yet shows the plaque on its own.

This is the Memory’s cover, not yours. Your own picture and the colour behind your initials live under Settings → Your account.

Every moment, memorable.
