Can I mute a single Memory?
Yes. Open the Memory, tap ⋯, then Memory Settings → Notifications. The row called Mute this Memory takes a length of time, and that one Memory goes quiet for it. Nothing else changes.

- For 1 week
- Until I turn it back on
The first four end by themselves. There is nothing to remember and nothing to undo. To bring a Memory back early, or to lift the open-ended one, open the same row and choose Select.
The switches beside it
- Notifications for this Memory: the main switch for this Memory alone. Off means silence, with no end date.
- Participants’ activity: when someone adds Moments here. Shared Memories only.
- New participants: when someone new joins. Shared Memories only.
Changes save as you make them. There is no Save button, so you can leave the screen as soon as you’re done.
This screen can only make a Memory quieter, never louder. Lumoria checks the app-wide switch first and this one second, so a category that is off under Settings → Notifications stays off here too. “Which notifications does Lumoria send?” lists the app-wide ones.
On a Memory you keep to yourself
The screen is shorter: the main switch and the mute, and nothing else. A Memory nobody else is in has no participants to report on. The one thing muting it stops is On this day, the yearly look back.
For every Memory at once
Settings → Notifications → Shared memory activity turns that whole category off, across every Memory you share. “What are a Memory’s own settings?” covers the rest of the Memory Settings screen.
