How do I set the mood of a Memory?

There’s no single switch for a whole Memory, and you don’t need one. You log how one moment felt, as often as you like, and Lumoria works out the average of them all. Open the Memory, tap +, and choose Mood.

Log one, step by step

  1. Open the Memory and tap +.
  2. Choose Mood.
  3. Move the slider to where the moment sat. Seven steps, from Very unpleasant to Very pleasant, with Neutral in the middle. A line under each name says what that step covers.
  4. Tap Continue.
  5. Pick up to three feelings from the list of thirty-three: Grateful, Calm and Excited through to Overwhelmed and Worried.
  6. Tap Save.

The mood becomes a card in the Memory, like any other Moment. Tap the card to change it, or press and hold it for Edit and Remove. “What is a Moment?” lists the other eight kinds.

The average mood card

From the very first mood, a card sits at the top of the Memory: AVERAGE MOOD, a face, and the line “Based on how you felt across the Moments in this Memory”. Log another and the average moves. The same face shows on the Memory’s card in the Memories tab.

That’s the part a camera roll can’t keep. Where you were is easy to record. How the week actually felt is not.

What about moods on tickets?

Making a ticket no longer asks you for a mood: a mood is a Moment in its own right now. A ticket made before that change keeps the one it has, and you can still correct it: open the ticket, tap ⋯, choose Edit ticket mood…. On a ticket with no mood, that entry isn’t there at all.

In a shared Memory everyone sees the moods, and the average is everyone’s together. The invitation says so before anyone joins: “Members see everything in this Memory, including moods.” Someone else’s mood card is read-only: you can’t edit what they logged.

Every moment, memorable.
