What does “beta” mean?

It means Lumoria is finished enough to trust with the things you want to keep, and still being built. Making tickets, building Memories, sharing them and keeping them safe all work today. What beta adds is change: features arrive, some things move, and now and then something won’t work the way it should.

What it means for what you make

Your tickets and Memories are not a trial run. They are encrypted, they sync with your account, and they stay yours when the beta ends. Nothing is cleared at launch. “How does Lumoria protect my data?” explains how they are kept.

What beta actually changes

• New things arrive. A kind of Moment, a ticket design, a whole screen. The app grows between updates.
• Some things move. A control you know can sit somewhere else after an update.
• A few corners are unfinished. Now and then a button exists before the thing behind it does.
• Wording lags behind the rules. A screen can still describe how something used to work; the help centre says so where that happens.

What beta doesn’t mean

• It is not a test build. Lumoria comes from the App Store, like any other iPhone app.
• It does not mean you pay later for what you have today. Lumoria is free while it is in beta, and an Early Adopter seat stays free afterwards. “Is Lumoria free?” has the terms.
• It is not careless with your things. Everything you create is encrypted on your phone before it leaves it.

When something goes wrong

1. Open the Settings tab.
2. Tap Contact support.
3. Tap Email us, or Copy email address and write to us from wherever you like.
4. Say which iPhone you have, which iOS version it runs, and what you were doing when it happened.

That last line is what makes a report usable: a lot of problems belong to one device or one version. The address is support@getlumoria.app if you would rather start from your mail app.

Where the changes are written down

Every release is written up on getlumoria.app, under Changelog: what was added, what changed, what was fixed. It is the quickest way to tell whether the thing you noticed was deliberate.

Beta shapes this help centre too. Every article describes what the app does today rather than what is planned, including the places where the app’s own wording hasn’t caught up yet.
