What can the widgets show?

Three: Memory, Pictures and Stats. All three need an Early Adopter seat. On a free account they sit on your home screen showing “Early adopter only” instead of your content.

Adding one

  1. Touch and hold an empty part of your home screen.
  2. Tap Edit, then Add Widget. On older versions of iOS, tap the + in the corner instead.
  3. Search for Lumoria and choose Memory, Pictures or Stats.
  4. Pick a size and add it.
  5. Touch and hold the new widget, tap Edit Widget, and choose which Memory it follows.

Memory

The Memory’s name, how many Moments are in it, and four running counts: tickets, photos, videos and music. The Memory’s colour tints the whole tile. The wide size adds a mood wheel: the average feeling across the Memory, drawn as a dial.

The setup screen also offers Shuffle every, with 10 minutes, 30 minutes and 1 hour. It changes nothing you can see today: there is no longer anything on this tile that rotates.

Pictures

One photo from a Memory you choose, changing every three minutes. If that Memory holds no photos, the widget says “Add photos to this memory” instead. Small size only.

Stats

One number, and you choose which: Memories created, or Tickets created this month. Small size only.

Widgets are an Early Adopter benefit. Without a seat the tile reads “Early adopter only”, with “Tap to claim a seat and unlock widgets” beneath it, and tapping it opens the Early Adopter screen. “What’s included with an Early Adopter seat?” lists everything a seat covers.

Which Memories you can pick

The ones you keep to yourself. A Memory you share with friends isn’t in the widget’s picker yet, so a Memory on a widget drops out of it if you make it collaborative. “Can I make an existing Memory collaborative?” covers that change.

If a widget looks out of date

iOS decides when a widget redraws, not Lumoria. Opening the app writes a fresh copy of your Memories for the widgets to read, and asks iOS to redraw them: usually enough to bring one back in line. That copy lives on your iPhone, which is why widgets keep working with no signal.

Every moment, memorable.
