How do I make my first ticket?

Your first Ticket takes about a minute, and it starts with the + button in the Tickets tab. You choose what kind of thing it was, pick a design, fill in the details, and watch it print.

Make one, step by step

1. Open the Tickets tab and tap the + button.
2. Choose New Ticket. (Import from Web is for a ticket you started on the Lumoria website.)
3. Pick a category: Plane, Train, Concert, Event, Movies, Museum or Public Transport.
4. Pick a template. Every category has its own designs, and tapping one shows you the whole ticket before you choose it.
5. Pick an orientation. Vertical is the stub shape, horizontal is the boarding-pass shape. It decides how the template lays itself out.
6. Fill in the details. What you’re asked for follows the category: a flight wants the route and the times, a film wants the title and the cinema.
7. Pick a style: a colour palette for the template, and a finish. Then tap Create ticket.

The ticket prints, saves itself, and the screen says Your ticket is ready. From that moment it’s in All tickets. There’s no separate save to remember.

A few templates have no style step. When that happens, the button on the details screen already says Create ticket. Nothing has gone wrong.

What is a finish?

The surface the ticket looks printed on. Matte is soft, like paper, and it’s the default. Glossy catches the light as you tilt the phone. Embossed presses the text and accents into the surface. Matte is free on every account; Glossy and Embossed need an Early Adopter seat. “What are matte, glossy and embossed?” shows each one.

If the pass is already on your phone

Don’t type it twice. Share a boarding pass out of Wallet, Mail or Files into Lumoria. It reads the pass, fills in every field it can, and puts you on the details step with the route and the times already there. “Import a boarding pass from Apple Wallet?” walks through it.
