How do I share a Memory with someone?

You share a Memory by inviting friends into it. Open the Memory and tap the invite button in the top bar (the person with a small plus, just before ⋯). There is no link and no public page: the people in a Memory are people you have added as friends on Lumoria.

Invite someone

1. Open the Memory and tap the invite button in the top bar.
2. Under Choose friends, tap the people you want.
3. Tap Send invites.

The invitation appears in their Memories tab, under Invitations, carrying your name and the Memory’s emoji and colour. They tap Join or Decline. Everything already inside is waiting for them the moment they join.

Sharing from the start

If you already have friends on Lumoria, making a Memory has a second screen: Collaborate with Friends. Pick people there and the button becomes Create & Invite. Pick nobody and it stays Create Memory. “How do I create a Memory?” walks through the whole thing.

What you need first

• A @username. Without one you are told: “You need a @username before you can share a Memory.” See “What is my @username for?”.
• At least one friend. Invite the person to Lumoria first, then to the Memory. “How do I add a friend?” covers that.
• Friends to invite. Everyone joins as a collaborator, and you can change that afterwards.

Everyone in a shared Memory sees everything in it, moods included. The invitation says so before anyone joins: “Members see everything in this Memory, including moods.”

What sharing does and doesn’t change

It changes who can see a Memory. It never changes what a Memory is or what it can hold: a shared Memory takes the same nine kinds of Moment as a solo one. Everyone joins as a Collaborator, and you move them from there afterwards: “Who can do what in a shared Memory?” has the roles.
